  • Whirlpool Error Code E3 – How to Fix

    1. Unplug the washing machine to disconnect power.
    2. Locate the error code E3 on your washing machine’s display.
    3. Understand that the E3 error code typically indicates an unbalanced load.
    4. This usually occurs during the spin cycle when the machine cannot maintain a stable rotation due to uneven weight distribution.
    5. Open the washing machine lid or door.
    6. Stop the current spin cycle if it is still attempting to run.
    7. Carefully remove several items from the drum.
    8. Rearrange the remaining laundry items evenly around the washplate (the central agitator or impeller).
    9. Ensure that heavier items are not all on one side of the drum.
    10. Close the lid or door.
    11. Restart the Spin cycle to see if the error code has cleared.
    12. If the error persists, you may need to redistribute the load again or remove more items.
